Sampled from a bottle. Pours reddish amber with a small off white head. The aroma is sweet malty aroma, with resiny and herbal hops, crackers, and light fruit notes. The flavor is resiny and herbal hops, sweet caramel, and crackers. Decent. alcaponejunior (438) - Texas, USA - DEC 4, 2012
Copper to reddish orange in color, hazy, good white head with good lace.
I found the aroma quite fruity, with fruity hops as a secondary, and a little malty goodness on top of that.
Flavor was somewhat similar to the nose but had a slightly astringent taste that I couldn’t quite identify. Plenty of malt backbone, lots of mild fruity and floral hops, and some notable earthiness.
Body was pretty thick for a red, and fairly alcoholic, with a combined bitter/malty finish.
Overall it was enjoyable. Not the greatest red ever, but a welcome part of my sampler twelvesky. gam (3956) - brisbane, AUSTRALIA - DEC 2, 2012

Dark orange, light red color with a minimal head. Smells spicy, must be rye, hints of malt too. The flavor is a good spicy flavor but nothing really special and the rye seems to dominate the hops. Overall, not bad but not something I’m going to be buying more of any time soon.

Bottle at Cookie. Great malty ale. Aromas of caramel, citrus, and nuts. Taste is sweet and bitter, with long length. Palate is velvety, and medium bodied. Red, with a frothy head.

Very aromatic beer. Has a nice red amber color, with a disappearing bubbly ring of a head. Has a full body, due to triply hopped brewing style. Unique dry hopped aroma and flavor. A nice beer! Davros (3208) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - NOV 1, 2012
Pours copper with a large lasting head.
Nose shows caramel, toffee, bready malt and nutty notes. Also some soft spicy hops.
Some caramel transfers through as a flavour along with some bready notes. A fairly sharp, metallic finish follows from the combined alcohol and bitterness.
Body feels overly syrupy. Brenhophead (695) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - OCT 29, 2012
330mL bottle. Pours very light red (almost golden) but is does have a nice toffee/grassy aroma with a quickly fading head. Very sweet toffee flavour with piney/grassy notes from the hops. I dont mind this beer but i think it would be much better fresh at the brewery but i guess what isnt? starewich (170) - - OCT 25, 2012
Slight but fruity nose. Tastes like caramel, grass and booze. Aftertaste is slight soy sauce. Bitterness deep down accumulates and becomes an issue halfway or so through a glass, but otherwise a good drink. maneliquor (3514) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - OCT 24, 2012
Bottle from Mane Liquor. Very malt driven with light floral hops behind it all. Solid and easy drinking for the abv. Worth a shot
