I don’t normally go for North American brews - I find most of the quality ones are simply a scrap over who can stuff the most hops into a single bottle, often at the expense of any real balance. There are some craft brews that play to the hop crowd, but don’t neglect balance - this is one of them. The aroma is like that of a fresh floral garden, backed by a citrusy zest. The beer pours a deep amber-red colour, and presents quality lacing that persists throughout the pour. The flavour and palate are, as to be expected, hop-dominant, but not to the exclusion of a solid malt palette in the background. I cannot honestly say that I can distinguish that this brew was hopped three separate times, but the rich citrus and floral notes from the nosing certainly carry through in the glass. A very strong beer, best enjoyed as an accompaniment to a heavy meal. slowrunner77 (12060) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 26, 2014
"looking at the other reviews, sounds like this one might not be old like i thought, just a little on the bland side for a "triple hopped double red ale". a little orange-ish citrus and caramel malt. a little thin for the abv. not bad, but a little dsiappointing after the build-up. About average for a red."

Poured from bottle to glass. Copper hue with creamy off white head thT dissipated to a ring. Aroma is malt, peppercorn, rye, caramel, grass. Mouthfeel is refreshing with a medium body and crisp carbonation. Taste is dry sweetness followed by a spicy hop bitterness that extends through the finish. Overall this is a nice brew. I enjoy strong beers, but for this one, the strong alcohol flavor dominates the other flavors. fcjack1 (272) - Washington, USA - SEP 17, 2014
UPDATED: SEP 18, 2014 Bottle from world beers. Pours a dark reddish hue. Thin tan head. Scent is a little malty. Taste is a little Belgian spicey. Bitterness kind of sits on the tongue. Not bad.

UPDATED: OCT 2, 2014 (Tap) Very little aroma. A very nice hop showcase with some nice spiciness. I like it! andrewje41 (3894) - Kenmore, Washington, USA - SEP 2, 2014
Bottle pour. Pours a really dark red with a malty aroma, with a little booze, and some nice hops to it as well. Sweet caramel flavor. Alcohol pretty obvious. Nice, slightly bitter hop flavor finish here. Decent beer here. Really like the various hop flavors throughout this one. Will drink again for sure. ozarkspops (368) - - SEP 1, 2014
Amber pour. Hazy. Thick khaki head. Earthy floral hop aroma. Caramel sweetness aroma. Flavor was bitter and bready. Earthy floral hops mostly. Bitter and dry finish.

Looks wonderful. Burnt orange/red colour with a nice cream colored head. Caramel and coffee scents. Licorice and burnt coffee flavours throughout, probably not smooth enough to pass as a great beer but not bold enough either. A little watery for a 7.5% but gentle carbonation and smooth enough after taste make it passable. KeefOz (1842) - Tarragindi, AUSTRALIA - AUG 20, 2014
BB Jan-15. Poured a hazy coppery colour with a few millimetres of light tan foam that diminished to a good collar that laced OK. Carbonation low and coarse. Aroma of sweet caramel malt and floral citrus. Taste of sweet caramel followed quickly by quite a hops bitterness. Light to medium body. Slightly dry with a slightly tart lingering bitterness. Quite nice.
