COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
KINGPIN is a full-flavored, red-colored ale that uses a rarely-grown Willamette Valley Hop varietal known as Liberty Hops from fourth generation hop farmer John Annen of Annen Bros. Farm in Silverton, Oregon. Jeff and his team of brewers also used rye and caramel malt leading to a unique flavor profile; triple-hopped for bitter aroma and a unique dry-hopped character.

355ml bottle from Warners at the Bay Bottle Shop. This is my first beer from Bridgeport and it’s a cracker. Strong bronzed copper colour with a low level layer of foam. Lots of caramel, toffee and malt in the aroma and it really fills the nose. Full flavoured and very malty with a great flavour that hits all parts of the mouth.

Wonderful, sweetish aroma. Sweet, malty, caramel? Hoppy - with a hoppy finish. I like this one quite a bit. I think it’s underrated currently.

Nice beer! Has a woody barleywine aroma to start. Really awesome color. Super clean and crystal clear with a beautiful frothy head. It’s like barleywine light. Bitter caramel and toasty. It has a unique enticing bitter flavor. You know how some beers make you think about pussy? This beer has that quality. Sex in a glass. It’s that aroma.

Bottle at Cookie. Great malty ale. Aromas of caramel, citrus, and nuts. Taste is sweet and bitter, with long length. Palate is velvety, and medium bodied. Red, with a frothy head.
