Bomber from Green’s - Buford, Bottling #13. Pours a hazy dark amber color with a thin tan head. Fair head retention. Aroma of toffee, caramel, vanilla, spicy hops, mild candied fruits. The taste is citrus hops, toffee, vanilla, oak, nougat, a bit of chocolate. Medium bodied, prickly booze, moderate carbonation, good balance. Nice beer. douglas88 (9789) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAR 10, 2014
Bomber. Pours a nice bright reddish mahogany color with a medium creamy beige head. The aroma is sweet citrus, oak. A nice robust flavor: tannins, oak, fresh oranges and mellow marmalade hops, sweet sugary dense middle, again more fresh ’green’ oak flavors. Quite fresh and big tasting. This isn’t a Uinta BW, but it is quite good. stevoj (5864) - Boise, Idaho, USA - JAN 5, 2014
Dark brown /ruby with large bubbly foam. Mellow oak barrel, wine-like aroma. Heavy on the malts, slightly syrupy with some hops on the finish. Finish is slightly dry. Warming without burning. Arayaga2 (2224) - portland, Oregon, USA - DEC 29, 2013
Deep translucent amber, with lots of small bubbles and an inch of tan head. Aroma is rich with toffee and plum, and woody vanillin notes are prominent in taste. Alcohol is there, but not overbearing, and it’s surprisingly dry into the finish, perhaps because of the oaky astringency. $6/22oz (mom & grandma leave PDX) alexanderj (3605) - Branson, Missouri, USA - OCT 27, 2013
Bottle; poured a dark auburn/almost ruby color with a khaki colored head. Aroma of alcohol, wood, dark fruit, caramel cherries and vanilla. Flavor lacked the quality of the aroma. A bit harsh and alcoholic at times; Earthy and dark fruit. Some pepper and wood. Good overall.

22oz bottle. Clear amber with a thick, foamy beige head. Aroma of toffee, oak, vanilla, fruity and light citrus. Flavor is caramel malt, vanilla, light bitterness, alcohol and dry oak. Medium to full body with a soft mouth feel. Good oak character in this one. SHIG (4965) - Wasilla, Alaska, USA - AUG 18, 2013
Bottle: Poured a orange red copper with a thin off white head that turned to jello. Aroma is strong bold hops and caramel malts. Taste is sweet malts, vanilla, and edgy hops. The tongue is somewhat dry and leafy. 5000 (6900) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - AUG 11, 2013
Bottle:   Deep ruby hued copper, moderate frothy beige head, spotty lacing.   Initial nose reminds me of the old Mirror Mirror, cheesy.   Otherwise I get oak, bright/alcohol caramel/toffee, very pale hops.
Similar tongue, an unrefined caramel/toffee, hop background that seems astringent (perhaps thats the malts), with a soft alcohol background.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Rough finish, alcohol, astringent hops and caramel,
not as clean as it started.   There is an oak presense for sure, but it doesn’t lend any credibility to the normal Knucklehead.   I prefer the original.   Damnit Bridgeport! ellolovey (483) - Georgia, USA - JUN 12, 2013
22 oz bottle. Pours a cherry cola red with a quickly dissapating tan head. Some lacing. Aroma of musky wood, vanilla, caramel, and dark fruits, Musky old leather taste up front, with some old wood, vanilla, and some dark fruits. Very sweet. Hopefully will not remember this beer in the morning. Not enjoyable at all. MrChopin (4305) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - APR 28, 2013
transparent amber, thin white ring. Sugary nose is orange rind and caramel. Flavor is similar, sugary with orange hints. Attenuate please.
