It poured a copper color with a white head. The aroma was of caramel, nutmeg, cinnamon and some other spices. The taste was similar with a slight hoppiness on the back end. The mouthfeel was medium with light carbonation. Very nice.

12oz bottle. Surprisingly amber pour with a thin ring of white cream around the edges of the glass. Aroma is caramel/toffee sweetness and floral hops. The caramel flavors are lightly toasted and a little nutty. The hops create a dry, clean finish. A very nice fall/harvest ale.

Slightly hazy copperish orange with a thin rocky head. The nose has a lot of sweet malty nutmeg and cinnamon with a sweet semi-caramel earthy malt. Basically smells like a pumpkin ale, sans-pumpkin. The taste is initially dry and spicy with a dry earthy malt character that includes a bunch of nutmeg and a bit of cinnamon. Has a sorta sour twang.

Bookseeb (137) - Wenatchee, Washington, USA - NOV 19, 2013
Appearance is a hazy brown supporting a thin dissipating head leaving. Smell and taste has the pumpkin spice, but don’t know if there is any real pumpkin in there with a good dose of hops. Mouthfeel is medium with good carbonation. Seems to be more like a spice harvest IPA.

12 oz bottle. Aroma consists of nutmeg and cinnamon, as described, but it’s fairly muted compared to most spiced beers. Pours hazy amber with a one finger beige head with decent retention. Taste has all the spicy character you’d expect, but this is much more bitter than other similar beers. Creamy mouthfeel, medium body. I’m liking the bitterness in this. Different than your average pumpkin spice beer.

BuckeyeBoy (7706) - Boise, Idaho, USA - OCT 29, 2013

Brouwerij (959) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - OCT 28, 2013
Bottle. Pours a clear red with big, pillowy khaki head. Decent retention and thin, stringy lace. Aroma is dominated by spice, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, very sweet. Flavor is sweet, strong cinnamon and nutmeg, with a sweet nutmeg finish a bitter aftertaste. Hops are purely bitter, no aroma or flavor. Soft carbonation, medium body, and syrupy texture. A light, heavily spice beer.
