bottle, orange color with tan head, one of the better fall spice beers, some nutmeg and caramel in the aroma with pumpkin spice, nutmeg, woody earthyness, nice medium finish Jabic (716) - Plainfield, Vermont, USA - SEP 18, 2012
Ar: Hints of ginger and nutmeg, slight caramel. weitz15 (601) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - SEP 15, 2012
Ap: Clear orange - medium-small off-white head with gleaning thin cap of lacing.
T: Cinnamon and nutmeg evident up front - toasted caramel with a light sweetness - somewhat tannic and acrid spice flavor emerges on the finish, mingled with low bitterness.
P: Medium body with medium carbonation - finish is medium-dry.
O: This beer seems a bit muddled, and the harsh spice finish needs some cleaning up.
The Witch Hunt seems more like a pale ale than a pumpkin ale---I can’t even taste the spice here. Somewhat dry, clean, and flavor heavy in grains. BillKismet (4146) - Seattle, Washington, USA - SEP 13, 2012
Rubescent peachy amber sporting a chewy caramel fluff top. Candy apple and cinnamon notes sway off the fluff top. Soothing hints of fall in each breath. Somewhat thin body and a bit tinny, even though this came from a bottle. Watery caramel and apple skin ensconced in an amorphous cloud of seasonal spices. Clear red orange color with thin off white lacing. Great fall aroma of cinnamon, clove and nutmeg. The palate has similar spices to those found in a pumpkin beer without a lot of the pumpkin coming forward. More of a pie crust note. Great fall beer especially for the price.

Bottle. Caramel brown. Spicy aroma, lots of cinnamon and citrus. Medium bodied, more cinnamon and some pumpkin. Long nutmeg finish boFNjackson (4230) - Portland, Oregon, USA - AUG 28, 2012
Bottle... Poured dark amber with a thin, beige head. Nose had spices similar to nutmeg, and malt. Foamy mouthfeel, worty and cinnamon and nutmeg spice. Not sure this was very successful. Overly unbalanced. Sugary. Mild hop tones but not enough to balance. Reid (2651) - Salem, Oregon, USA - AUG 25, 2012
12 oz single from Roths Sunnyslope Market in S.Salem. garth_86 (221) - EDMONTON, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 23, 2012
Orange/brown ale, clear with nice carbonation strings and a frothy thick creme coloured head.
Aroma is mainly caramel malts and a little nutmeg, slight spicy hop.
Taste is mainly malty with a spicy finish and some cinnamon heat in the after taste’
Average on the palate..drinkable enough though
OK beer not a huge amount of flavor. Got at Walmart in a 6 pack which is cool for us Canadians. thooper41 (556) - BELGIUM - AUG 22, 2012
12 oz bottle: appearance is a deep brown with quick fading tan head. Aroma is of stale malt and some spices. Taste has a hint of spices and hops, some decent malt backbone.
