Nose is light spice, bitter orange, straw, earthy.
Taste comprises caramel, nutmeg, spice, malt.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.

Bottle, 12oz. It’s an almost clear one, amber in color and topped by a dense, finger-thick light beige head leaving lacings. The aroma is sure spiced, nutmeg and clove notes, as well some caramel maltyness in the back. There’s some sweetness and bitterness going on in the flavor, but the spices win. Dried fruits, caramel and a touch of pine cones as well. Full to medium body, soft carbonation. Feels quite sweet, but dries up towards the end, which is also mostly spiced. Not sure... Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours clear copper with a slight foamy off-white head. Aroma is something from my childhood. Can’t come up with a name for it. Med body. Flavor is a sharp spice which drains away to reveal something like pie spice. Finishes fairly dry, and there is that strong spice. Slightly hazy copperish orange with a thin rocky head. The nose has a lot of sweet malty nutmeg and cinnamon with a sweet semi-caramel earthy malt. Basically smells like a pumpkin ale, sans-pumpkin. The taste is initially dry and spicy with a dry earthy malt character that includes a bunch of nutmeg and a bit of cinnamon. Has a sorta sour twang.

Pour out of 12 oz bottle, dark reddish pour with thin slightly off white head, aroma has notes of cinnamon, nutmeg, some slight hops, caramel, toffee, hints of earth, spice notes in there as well, smells pretty well balanced. Taste is a mix of sweet caramel, toffee, lots of cinnamon, ginger, finishing with some hints of earth, slight bitter grassy hops, finishing fairly dry and spicy.
