Bottle. Pours a clear dark caramel color with a medium white head. A light sweet toasty nose. The flavor is light spices, caramel, toast, some fruity hops. Light almost soapy spices. Light overall. Pretty nice though. maxwelldeux (4374) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - OCT 22, 2014
Bottle. Pours a mostly clear reddish amber color with a fairly thick tan head on there. Nose is pretty heavy on the cinnamon front, with nutmeg being there as well, but little else. Taste is a little sweet with a lot of the same spice character coming through. Nothing really special. Beerenberger (1605) - Fischer, Texas, USA - OCT 19, 2014
Aromas of sweet malts combine with cinnamon and nutmeg and precede cranberry hued pour which provides short lived off-white head and moderate lacing. The taste is subdued. Cinnamon, nutmeg, and a hoppy bitterness prevail. Medium body and sharp carbonation. Overall, I would have like to see the spice aspect of this beer amped up. Sadly, the sharp hop bitterness was the dominate taste. slowrunner77 (11917) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 23, 2014
Seems like a rather robust Carmel malt and hoppy amber/red ale base, with cinnamon and nutmeg present but not overpowering. Really like the balance here. Well done."

It’s okay - a little too "aley"; spice flavors are present but not overly strong. smallfry (169) - - SEP 15, 2014
UPDATED: OCT 2, 2014 (Tap) Good for a spiced beer. Not fantastic but I would order this at a bar. Wonderful aroma! vulcanmeister (269) - La Grande, Oregon, USA - AUG 19, 2014
Pours from 12oz bottle a copper color with a light tan head. Aroma gigner and nutmeg. Taste malt, cinnamon, ginger...kind of like a gingersnap.Light bodied. Finish of grassy hops, spice, and some earthiness...maybe pumpkin pie. TXBadger (2811) - Dallas, Texas, USA - MAY 21, 2014
I actually thought this beer was terrible. Pours an amber color with off-white head. No spice on the nose to speak of, just burn malt. On the palate it was more of the same. The finish was dirty. It just never sat right with my palate. robforbes (2238) - Bremerton, Washington, USA - MAR 1, 2014
pours a cloudy copper with a small light tan head, and good lacing.
