COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This rebellious Brigand is a dry bitter, blonde beer that re-ferments in the bottle. It used to be amber in colour; now it is pale blonde thanks to the use of pale malts and pils malt as well as unmalted wheat. Brigand tastes full in the mouth with a slightly malty aroma. It also has a slightly malty taste with accents of spices and hops. The hop bitterness comes through in the finish.

Ingredients: water, barley malt (Pale, Pilsener), unmalted wheat, sugar, hops, yeast, antioxidant (ascorbic acid).

Good beer. Consistent foam and medium body. The alcohol is not proeminent, fitting with the taste.

75cl bottle on New Years Eve. Amber with a two finger white head. Lively cabonation. Yeast, caramel, bread, spice and hops. Sweet with a medium bitter aftertaste. A bit thin for a strong ale.

Bottle at wig wam. Puerto Rico. Clear yellow small white head. Aroma is malty slightly flowery not typical Belgian , seems like the yeast is well behaved. Flavor is fruity , hoppy, some alc bitterness. A very fruity Belgian blonde

Birra bionda e limpida, al naso principalmente malto, al palato molto dolce e maltata. Carbonazione media. Decente belga.

Into a chalice at just on chilled. Looks the goods as far as Belgian Golden Strongs. Mountainous, steady plume of white rises up and out the glass. Cedes a wicked amount of Belgian lace in its wake. The body of beer a highly charged, deep, pastel gold thats finely misted. Yeasty, vinous, sweet malt and spiced by booze is the very heated nose. Pear, guava, banana, lemon peel, rock candi and subtle eucalypt come through with a few swift swirls. Taste of lemon and barley cough drops with a warming, fusel finish. The body fills out as it warms otherwise it is effervescent and light chilled. Medicinal but displaying enough supple fruit esters to save it. There is hints of melon, banana and citrus amid powdery malt and a lean bitterness. Not much length bar a light herbal bitterness, even once it warmed. On a sweeter tip but steers itself well away from being cloying. Just boring really. A boozy glass of cordial. (33cL, BBE 03/19, The Liquor Shed, Jandakot)

Bouteille 33cl, V&B Grenoble.

Blueshawk (465) - Bad Bellingen, GERMANY - SEP 7, 2016

Robe blonde, reflets dors, mousse crmeuse.

Bottle, 330 ml at Beertija, Zagreb. Pours dark golden with white head. Citrus, fruit, spices, yeasty note. Warming, even bit boozy. Medium bodied. OK, but nothing special.
