33cl draught. Nice foam with rings on the glass, you can feel only fruit especially tropical. Just at the end of the beer can taste some malt and hop and smoke. Very pricy. mutz (1098) - NETHERLANDS - DEC 28, 2012

Clear golden ale with a medium foamy white head. Aroma of malt, fruity raisins and honey, coriander, vanilla. Typical belgian taste, sweet fruity character with spicies.
on tap @ cafe Olivier, Utrecht. Golden with a white head. Fruity yeasty aroma. Spicy taste with a lot of sweetness. Tastes like a spiced up regular Brigand but otherwise not very interesting. mike_77 (7020) - Breda, NETHERLANDS - DEC 26, 2012
Bright, clear blond appearance. Has some soft, light malt flavours. It’s quite thick and a bit furry feeling. Warming alcohol finish.

Aroma is sweet with malt, some brown sugar and spices. Flavour has malt, some orange peel, hints of brown sugar and warming alcohol that gets stronger towards the finish. Decent.
Very difficult to get. Only brewed for export to specialist beer bars in Holland and always in casks, no bottles. I managed to review it at the 16th Essen Christmas beer festival 2010, where they always try and get a barrel.
Darker than the regular Brigand and with a better head which remained intact for longer than the regular too.
Stronger in flavour also, maltier and spiced? I could detect coriander both in the smell and taste. The hop content is certainly overpowered by the malty character of the brew. The alcohol is masked by a sweetness from the malts, but this isn’t one of those sickly winter brews you sometimes come across in Belgium, this is very good indeed.

Draft @ de engel. Aroma is swampy fruit. Flavour is meh, swamp and fruit. I hope something is wrong with this beer. erickok (6037) - Leuven, BELGIUM - JAN 15, 2012
Orange, light fizzy body. Typical Belgian sweetness. Nothing special, cloves, clementine and white sugar. Light sweet taste from start to finish. Well brewed but a bit boring. (On tap at De Wildeman) MaartenRF10 (1959) - Wageningen, NETHERLANDS - JAN 13, 2012
UPDATED: JAN 23, 2013 Rerate. Less clove this year. Still some, and very spicy. Sour sweet. Watery body, though not thin.
On tap as "Winter Brigand". Clear orange with nice white head. As soon as I put my nose in the glass, the clove lowered my expectations of this beer, too much clove! Taste is not much better, way too much clove again.
