Very dark (almost black) color with a beige head. Nice lacing. Looks good. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a nice mellow carbonation level. Good condition. Ok balanced sweetness versus bitterness. Ok peat level for even me in the flavor. Also some rost and chocolate. Decent smoked beer.
[Handpull at Ale House in Chelmsford, England – shared with Rune a Sunday afternoon]

Half pint, cask at the Ale House in Chelmsford. Decent fawn-coloured head leaving rich lacing behind. Jet black body. Smoked aroma with hints of dark berry fruits. The taste profile follows suit with smoked malts up front joined by dark dough and berry fruits. Ashy and drying malty finish. Medium bodied. Pleasant (Shared with Cunningham 19.02.2017).

Gravity, Coventry BF, 16/04/16. Really beautiful. Gust of Bamberg sausage and ham nose. Elegant soft smoked ham over black berry flavour. Mint and ham. Tar with a dirty yellow tan halo. Really sticks around. Goodness me.
