Keg at Ant ’n Bee - Tokyo. Pours clear red-brown with a tight, creamy tan head. The aroma holds medium roast malts, cocoa, light coffee. Medium sweet flavor with notes of dried berries, leather, bitter ashy roast, a little burnt rubber, earth. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Pours dark brown, almost black - with a bit of beige foam. Aroma is really full of roast, dark bitter chocolate also there, but still quite soft overall. Tastes nicely dry and full of roast, cocoa power and dark chocolate. Brimmer has done a good job with this relatively low abv beer and added all the flavours you want to have from a sessionable porter. Tap at copper’s ale in Tokyo. Dark pour with s nice mocha head. Nuts, spice, herb, cocoa, chocolate. Thin and lighter than expected body. Nice but a bit more flavor towards the finish would be nicer

Tap at Brimmer Beer Box, Tokyo. Brown with ruby hints. Short head and lacing. Rich cocoa, coffee and nutty notes. The taste is quite dry. Pour is a brown mahogany with a creamy white head. Smells of nuts and caramel.
Taste is milk chocolate, nuts and caramel. Fairly basic but still manages to be enjoyable.
Bottle from Sugaya. Chocolatey nose, with deep dark roast, light coffee, and some berries. Dark translucent brown, filmy head, some lace. Medium dark chocolate initial, gets very nutty (macadamia, walnut) in mid palate, and mild bittering in finish. Light-medium body. Very smooth and soft.
