COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Unser ganzer Stolz: Brinkhoff’s No.1.

   AROMA 4/10   APPEARANCE 2/5   TASTE 4/10   PALATE 2/5   OVERALL 8/20
Bierkrug (2129) - - JAN 19, 2011
500 ml bottle in Germany. Light yellow color. Characteristic malty, hoppy pilsner aroma. Very dry, almost mouth dryness so, but no great character. The taste and aroma comes over as rather tired and it can’t avoid the earthy cardboard tang on the finish.

kustie (1311) - Tampere, FINLAND - OCT 28, 2017
Bottle. Clear golden color with white head. Aroma has grain, caramel and hay. Taste is malty with quite sweet aftertaste. Flavors of caramel, malt and hay.

Maracuja05 (1629) - Mainz, GERMANY - SEP 18, 2017
25-07-17 // bottle at Bavaria Mainz. Clear golden. Crisp bitter hay malt. Average pils.

2.7
Piepenhenrich (1230) - Steinbach, GERMANY - SEP 3, 2017
One of the gazillion Pils available in Germany, which have been all set around the mainstream taste. Not bad at all, just not outstanding from the masses.

2.5
thellgren (1127) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAY 14, 2017
Tasting glass from tap @ Brauerei-Museum Dortmund tasting session, April 23, 2017. Appearance is quite light and clear. Again one of the traditional Dortmund lagers which are now made by the same brewery. These are quite similar. This has, however, higher ABV, more like Dortmunder. Drinkable, when it’s hot and you’re in Dortmund.

aleigator (945) - GERMANY - FEB 8, 2017
Yields a bright golden color with a dense, spongy white head. Smells pretty sweet, the nose is by toffee malts, which get supported by a wheat and a faint herbal note. Has a very light, partly watery body, which brings a nice refreshment, due to it effervescent carbonation. Tastes of cakey malts, wrapped up by wheat and young straw, together with a herbal dryness. During midpalate the beer turns thinner, since its hoppy flavor vanishes slowly, with only malts prevailing in the bubbly, boring finish. Very light and not overly crisp, this relies a tad too heavy on the malts.

3.1
Grumpelmies (364) - GERMANY - JAN 4, 2017
Bottle. Dark yellow with a decent head, not much in terms of lacing. Aroma is noble hops and grains. Taste is grassy, grainy, earthy, a little bit spicy and nicely hoppy in the aftertaste. Strong carbonation. Crisp, clean and goes down really well.

2.9
Zlotta (3814) - Hagen / Düsseldorf, GERMANY - DEC 24, 2016
On tap. Clear, golden yellow with a thin, foamy, slowly diminishing, white head. Slightly sweetish, fruity-grassy aroma of fresh grass, some grains and a touch of citrus. Slightly bitter, moderately grassy-fruity and a bit grainy taste of fresh grass, some citrus and a touch of grains, followed by a short, moderately grassy-bitter finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay!
