Bottle. Archer Road Beer Stop, Sheffield. Pale copper colour. Light haze. Thin, dense, sticky, white head. Has that barrel aged legginess. Nose has white wine, oak, and clean, fresh hop. Nothing else required. Smells incredibly clean, verging on menthol medicinal. Lovely. Taste has a soft, white grape tang. A little sour, and a little bitter. Crisp mouthfeel. Vinous, oaky finish. Knocked me out, this. Absolutely lovely.

330ml bottle from Beer Gonzo. Muddy reddish brown, reasonable head. Sour yeasty lemon aroma. Sour brett lemon flavour. Watery. Not for me.

jamestulloch (3781) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JAN 26, 2017
Bottle (6.8% ABV) from Beer Gonzo. Hazy amber body with a thin off-white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of green apple, kiwi fruit, chardonnay and cloudy lemonade. Flavour of oak, lemon peel and minerals. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. Funky and complex. One of my favourite beers yet from Bristol Beer Factory.

January 2017 - 330ml bottle at home in Richmond as Bristol Beer Factory Southern Conspiracy, 6.8%, BB Nov 2018, aged in white burgundy barrels. Pours a dark murky amber orange with a foamy light brown head. Aroma is almost bretty, oaky, green banana, green grape, some peach. Body is light, smooth with soft to tingly carbonation. Taste is very oaky, rounded and full, grape, minerally, tangy and dry, hints at sourness but mostly just crisp and oaky. Long biscuity, woody finish. Complex and tasty yet really drinkable. A really great beer.

The Hope, Carlshalton. 7.0% bottle from the fridge. Hazy gold beer, big fluffy white head. Palate is slightly dry and a little crispy. Medium citric hops with a nice touch of gooseberry tartness. Then the white wine tang kicks in, it becomes quite strong picking up a creamy white wine vibe. Finishes sharp and slightly sour and dry. Very satisfying and original beer. The bottle vanished!

Scopey (13596) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 13, 2012
Bottle, 7% at the Evening Star, Brighton. It pours hazy straw yellow with a medium white head. The nose is dough, grapefruit, gooseberry, white grape, kiwi, some spice and nettles. The taste is grapefruit, lemon, tart gooseberry, melon, white grape, pithy, strong soap, wood, assertive bitterness, vinous aspect, dough and underling spice with a long, bitter-dry finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation and velvety mouth-feel. Good depth of flavour and well balanced. An impressive brew all-round.

7% Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Smells airey and light with some grape. I live what beersiveknown has written below: perfectly identifies the fruit notes. But to me this has some lactic sourness - is that supposed to be the case, or is something amiss? An inconclusive experience.

evergreen0199 (3199) - Northwood, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 15, 2012
Cask at Euston Tap, London. A dark golden coloured pour with a medium tight white head on top. Citrus/tropical fruit aroma. Tastes of citrus fruit/tropical fruit, hoppy, quite bitter, malty. A bit one dimensional but still pretty good.

Beersiveknown (5148) - NORTHERN IRELAND - AUG 20, 2012
This beer is spot on and deserves a 5. Fresh grape and lime aromas, palest gold in prime condition. Kiwi fruit and tangerines, bitterness and malt perfectly balanced and drinks like a session beer despite the ABV. More please!
