Bottle, 7% at the Evening Star, Brighton. It pours hazy straw yellow with a medium white head. The nose is dough, grapefruit, gooseberry, white grape, kiwi, some spice and nettles. The taste is grapefruit, lemon, tart gooseberry, melon, white grape, pithy, strong soap, wood, assertive bitterness, vinous aspect, dough and underling spice with a long, bitter-dry finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation and velvety mouth-feel. Good depth of flavour and well balanced. An impressive brew all-round.
20th Nov 2017. Shrewsbury Beer Share Group Meeting in Chez Sophie. 330ml bottle: 6.8% ABV: BB 10th Nov 2018. No idea who brought this, but it wasn't me (Mat seems to think it was me, but wasn't). Anyway, it came out a misty golden colour and had a white topping on it. Nose had a citrus leaning with off-notes, taste similar, lost the wine somewhere at least for me. Not the best beer I've had from BBF. minutemat (6063) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - NOV 20, 2017
330ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie Nov 17, courtesy of Bladdock. Pours a hazy golden orange, small off-white head. Aroma is bretty fruity funk. Taste is bretty, lightly prickly.. not getting a massive amount of white wine influence. Tis a little oaky. Decent. cgarvieuk (25987) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - OCT 6, 2017

Quite a nice collaborative effort here from the two English based breweries, the beer was definitely a hop-filled one with a bit more sweetness than I’d anticipated at times but the oak & vanilla flavours were nice to see in this type of beer. For the most part it was the tropical flavours & hop bitterness that dominated proceedings but I was also surprised to see some of tart & funky saison like flavours near the end which were unexpected but welcome additions to the beer. It was a fresh & lively offering that proved quite easy to drink despite its strength; good stuff & one I’d be open to having again.
Keg at Hopwater Cellar, Newcastle under Lyme. Pours golden haze with an off white froth. Very plain after gorgeous sour so it was pretty like drinking water. It should be able to fight through so it’s disappointing. Fullpintofbeer (439) - Bristol, Somerset, ENGLAND - MAR 5, 2017

Very enjoyable IPA, can taste a nice oakiness to it, along with a good fruitiness.
