Cask& bottled, special;
A marriage of American and Belgian brewing techniques, using a special strain of Belgian yeast and brewed using traditional open-top fermenters. This beer has a distinct dryness with a peppery, spicy finish and a big hoppy twist. We think it’s one of the best beers we’ve made.

Big American hop aroma. flavour is American hops then belgian yeast esters and honey. bitter finish. High carbonation. Nice. basically an American ipa in hop character, no compromise, then brewed with a belgian yeast.

I got bottle of this from Beer Gonzo in Coventry from the section of beers with short use by dates. Being a bottle conditioned beer made that even better. Really great combo of belgian and american styles, love that it is 500ml and i now feel set for the evevning on just one beer!

BeerViking (5197) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 10, 2014
Bottle, dark gold with a thick foam, hoppy slightly funky nose, huge bright New World hoppiness over a rich yet dry Abbeyish body, and a long very dry-bitter finish.

ianwelby (1591) - SCOTLAND - OCT 3, 2014
Hazy golden beer with a thick foamy head. Very bitter hop aroma. Flavour is tropical fruit with the same bitter hop coming through. Light floral aftertaste. Very nice.

minutemat (6373) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - SEP 21, 2014
500ml bottle from Beerdock. Pours hazy gold with white head. Dry, peppery and hoppy character with spiky lemon pith and citrus. Found it difficult to get into this.

Beese (3337) - Watford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - AUG 4, 2014
Bottle from the Red Squirrel Chesham Brewery Shop, sampled at Fergus’ tasting on 26 July. Poured a hazy golden colour, with a dense white head and some lacing. Aroma of Belgian esters, peal and bready malt. Grassy hop flavours, with some tangerine and brown sugar. Finish was tinned fruit, almond and chewy grain.

Leighton (23093) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 26, 2014
Bottle shared at the Watford tasting. Pours hazy gold with a frothy white head. Mild Belgian yeast in the nose, some bread, slight grains, orange rind. Medium sweet flavor with dry, grainy bread, some yeast, orange rind. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Light warmth on the finish, more grainy bread, some pine, a bit of dirt, more citrus rind. Not bad.
