From brewers droop, Bristol
500 ml bottle [BBE:4.7%]
Blood Alc: 34mg/100ml

Aroma is burned chocolate and vanilla. Colour is black with a coagulent white head. The beer is quite tangy with heavily roasted to burnt flavours and the texture is halfway between water and a thick stout. there is a sweetness to balance the roasty flavours but the drink does lack excitement or interest. Definitely a bbf beer, it?s good, has a little character but nothing amazing.

Aroma: toasted malts, light coffee and chocolate. Appearance: dark, murky, brown, small, beige head. Taste: light sweet. Palate: sweets remain, milk and lacto flavours, chocolate, light bitters towards the end. Overall: nice Oatmeal Porter, well balanced, yet missing the seasonal spices. Keg at Beer Emporium. It pours hazy deep brown with a small beige head. The nose is caramel, wood, leather, toasted sugar, fruit cake and light spice. The taste is smooth, caramel, sour fruits, dried berry, wood, leather and spice with a dry finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Smooth, drinkable and balanced. Decent.
