500ml bottle from Utobeer. Clear ruby red with lasting beige head. Aroma of dry malt and fruity malt. Flavour of fruits, milk choc, some alcohol, some hop tingle on finish. Good warming beer. Quite a lot of sticky sediment stuck to bottom of bottle. Good warm beer. chrisv10 (18222) - DENMARK - JUL 17, 2014

Slightly hazy amber color, small steady beige head. Light toffee and malts in the nose. Medium-bodied. Nutty, sweetish, English hops. Light alcohol, a bit too watery finish. Something between ESB and English strong ale. yngwie (17176) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - OCT 11, 2014
Bottle. 2012 vintage. An unclear, dark amber beer topped by a small, dense, beige head. Nice lacings. The aroma is sugary and malty, with some dried fruits and canned tropical fruits. Some sourish hints and green grapes. It’s soft on the palate, with a pleasant carbonation level. Medium body, semi-dry. Caramel maltyness, dark sugar, dried fruits and some resiny bitterness in the flavor. Some sourish hints too. Seems to be slightly off this one. Not that it matters, it’s quite uninteresting anyway. 141011 FatPhil (16924) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - FEB 19, 2013

Pleasant old nutty roasty aroma, but not so big. Dry nutty palate. English estery almondy componts come out in the aroma and retronasals later. Soft palate, nice carbonation. High drinkability for the strength, but the very dry attenuation makes it drying.
Bottle - Vintage 2012 - Toasted malts and some light dark fruit. Clearish copper with a rich beige head. Dark fruit, caramel and cocoa. Some plum notes peek out as well. Scopey (15471) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 27, 2011
Cask at White Horse, Parson’s Green. It pours very dark brown-ruby, with a thin beige head. the nose is treacle, sticky dried fruit, golden syrup and cinnamon. The taste is roasted malt, toast, oak, chocolate, coffee, salt, meat, raisin, sultana, leather, tobacco and alcohol warmth, with a very long dry-toast finish. Full body and soft carbonation. Good.
