cask, Font Bar Mcr. Surprisingly subtle aroma, expected a full on hit. There’s plenty of warmth in the swallow & a very rounded mouthfeel. Pours a very murky orange-red colour, its pretty fine but I wonder if I’ve caught it a bit tired?

Euston Tap. Thanks to Leighton for getting me this one! Light haze on this amber beer. Light crisp palate. Mild minerals. Decent Sorachi Ace lemon cream with a little bubblegum. Mild citrus. Light dry finish.

Cask-conditioned at No. 1 Harbourside, Bristol 16/2/2012. Deep gold with a decent, frothy white head. Sweetish, tangerine and grapefruit aroma with a hint of caramel and some grassy hops. Flavour had more fruits, some cereal malts, leading to a dry finish. Enjoyable.

Cask at the Euston Tap, London. Pours clear, yellow-gold with a mild, white froth head. Restrained citrusy hops in the aroma, some dried lemon, hay. Light to medium sweet flavor with semi-dry, biscuity pale malts, lime, tangerine, hay. Light to medium in body with fine carbonation. Good condition. Clean finish, some lightly juicy citrus fruits, sweet pale malts, mellow bitterness. Well balanced overall. Drinks quite smoothly. It’s not in your face at all, just nicely rounded and easy to drink.
