COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This Imperial Stout has spent the last 6 months ageing in oak taking on the famous characteristics of Laphroaigs 10 year old whisky of peat, smoke & the sea. The Stouts rich, smooth, roasty flavours combine with the whisky character to produce a complex beer, layered with big flavours. Enjoy as an after-dinner treat or as an accompaniment to full-flavoured cheeses.

Bottle at Pats Birthday Tasting at Chrisos, London. Pours thick brown with a beige foam head. Pungent Laphroaig whisky aroma. Very sweet flavor with pleasant wood and hard alcohol, faint roast and cocoa, some peat. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Warming to finish with big peat, burnt wood. For what it is, quite alright. You have to enjoy peat to like this beer.
