Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Deep golden with a small creamy head. It has a fuller bodied tropical fruit aroma and taste, so much so the nose is very sugary. Slightly soured.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Poured a slightly hazy medium amber with a frothy white head and a few bubbles. The aroma is big citrus fruit hop, pine needles. The flavour is medium bitter with a light malt, hop spice bitter palate and long fruity bitter finish. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Really enjoyed this one. Very refreshing indeed and lots going on. For an APA is this is very good indeed and if Three Floyds had brewed it, people would be saying it was a whale im sure!

Cask-conditioned at the Colston Yard, Bristol 15/05/2011. Pale amber with a decent white head. Big hoppy aroma of grapefruit, oranges and pine resin. Flavour was also dominated by citrus fruits and pine, with a touch of sweetish malt providing some balance, before a very bitter finish with accompanying pine. Excellent.

500ml bottle. Mid-clouded orange gold with a whipped egg white top. Fruit Salad chew, melon, Feta and lime peel aroma. Monkey nut, dunked biscuit and almond maltiness lurking beneath slightly sharp limey hop and bristling leafiness. Lean and balanced.
