UPDATED: AUG 4, 2015 Cask at The Holy Inadequate, Etruria. A clear dark brown to black colour with a medium mocha head. Aroma is quiet sweet of coffee, milk chocolate, lactose and some roasted malts. Taste of roasted malts, coffee, milk chocolate, some lactose, subtle fruit cake, burnt caramel and a little smoke. Light bodied and a smooth texture. A bittersweet, roasted, chocolatey finish. Really nice, perfect balance of sweetness and bitterness.

MmmmMackesons and then some. Lovely sweet stout, if you like that sort of thing. Bottle pours a flattish black, and the aroma is of a good mocha; coffee and chocolate. Nice full mouthfeel, and the bitter dark malts are balanced by lots of lactose. Hopping light and difficult to discern. I like it, but may be sweet for some.
