Deep brown/black pour with a thick tan head. The aroma is quite chocolatey. Fairly rich aroma with a moderate sort of sweetness. Has a bit of soft vanilla and caramel through the middle. Really silken palate. Delicious.

ruigo (3080) - PORTUGAL - DEC 25, 2014
50cl bottle. Dark brown colour with a small soapy tan head. Chocolate, roasted malts, coffee and hops in the aroma. Soft to average carbonation and medium to full body. Taste is well balanced with a long roast finish. Overall, a nice beer.

Bootlegger007 (245) - AUSTRALIA - DEC 10, 2014
Black in colour head diminished quickly, light stout aroma, caramel and chocolate, mild flavours, creamy yet a light body, fizzy carbonation, mild style of a stout I was left wanting more from it.

Cantabrian (1170) - Christchurch NZ, now Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - DEC 5, 2014
Lovely appearance, black with a creamy cream head, aroma of dark chocolates and red currants, with a touch of burnt toast. Flavour is sweet (that dark chocolate), berryish and a touch bitter from roast malts. The fruitiness disappears in the finish. No nonsense coffee flavours in this good sweet stout. Nice chalky palate. This is a classic. I love a milk stout, and the Brits know how to make a good one.

Kauge (2131) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - NOV 30, 2014
Transferring some earlier reviews from my blog to RB.

Giochaurand (533) - FINLAND - NOV 23, 2014
Tap. Pours opaque and with low head. Aroma is roasted malts and coffee. Taste is soft sweet and bitter with coffee. Served maybe a bit too cold to properly get more flavours.

3.7
Beese (3305) - Watford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - NOV 3, 2014
Cask gravity at Le Gothic’s Wandsworth Beer Festival on 26 Oct 2012. Poured black, with a scummy beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, vanilla and condensed milk. Full mouth feel. Semi-sweet flavours of liquorice, fruit cake and molasses, with some ash. Finish was burnt malt, coffee and treacle.
