Aroma: toasted malts, light milk chocolate. Appearance: dark brown, no head. Taste: light sweet. Palate: getting quite sweet, milk chocolate, not too intense, light toward notes. Overall: very nice Sweet Stout, well balanced. Bottle from Waitrose, Bath. Davros (3178) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - AUG 3, 2014
Pours black with a small light tan head.
Nose shows roasted malt, cocoa, milk chocolate. Appetising.
Flavours follow along the same lines: dry roasted malt, cocoa and a little underlying sweetness from the lactose. Very easy-drinking stuff.
Body feels a little watery. prawlie (1592) - Berkshire, ENGLAND - JUL 3, 2014
Pint At the Nags Head in Reading. Light and tasty stout, a bit of dry spice to it. Black with a nice creamy head. Enjoyable stuff, though a touch lacking in body.

500ml bottle. Pours an opaque black, with a smallish beige head, which lasts quite well and leaves good lacing. Malted milk, caramel, milk chocolate and roasty malt make up the aroma. Mild herbal hops up front give way to sweet malted milk and caramel leading into the mid-palate. This offers mild cappuccino and chocolate flavours, with roasty malt and a little caramel sweetness in the finish. You need a sweet tooth for this one, but it is a very nicely balanced sweet stout. Quite enjoyable. gam (3924) - brisbane, AUSTRALIA - MAY 30, 2014

Bottle in The Treacle Tap, Macclesfield. It has coffee, licorice, sweet roasted malts, light hop character. All in all a pretty good beer. Haven’t been in here for a while, like it, just too small. Does my swede in. Splitenz (370) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 22, 2014
A fine milk stout. Pours nearly jet black. Fine roasted malts meets nuts, hops and a balanced sweetness. None of this is overpowering, so a good thirst chaser as well. ManVsBeer (10452) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - MAY 2, 2014
Cask @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Dark and clear so not quite black with a creamy off-white head. It has a creamy milky texture too with a light roasted malts nose with the chocolate more evident in its taste. dj (620) - Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 29, 2014
Bottle, 500ml. Black colour with a large brown head. A sweet roasted malt aroma with wheat notes. Flavour is chocolate malt, some biscuit notes, wheat and a little roasted barley in the finish along with sweetness. Very slight bitterness. Lightly carbonated. A very drinkable and enjoyable brew. laidbackbloke (59) - Warsaw, POLAND - APR 17, 2014
April 2014, on tap at the Grain Barge in Bristol. Color: dark brown, virtually black. Aroma: roasted malts, traces of nuts and milk chocolate pralines. Palate: very smooth, lactic. Aftertaste: slightly resiny, roasted malts on the finish, combined with a hint of milk chocolate. Rather enjoyable, session beer, although lacks any complexity.
