Reasonable - think it lacked the oomph needed for a low abv stout. Not sure what the lactose adds but pleasant enough

Cask at the Eldon Arms, Reading. A glossy black body with a tight beige head that laces the glass to the bottom; sweet chocolatey aroma; lactic body, really sweet with lots of well toasted chocolate malts; then a drier, nutty finish. A really good stout.
