ABV. 4.5%. Clear dark brown color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, caramel, milk chocolate, sugar. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090122]

Clear light dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good to fail lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, milk chocolate. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20111203]

Cask at NWAF 2009. A red-brown beer with a lazing tan head. The aroma has notes of sweet and roasted malt as well as caramel. The flavor is very sweet with notes of roasted malt and chocolate, leading to a dry roasted and lightly burnt finish. The mouthfeel is very smooth.

ChrisOs Early December Tasting. Clear red - brown beer. Good pale tan head. Demi dry palate. Tangy dark malt with a good balance of lacto sweetness. Traces of red fruits. Semi dry finish. Tasty little beer, does what it says on the tin.
