500ml bottle. Almost completely opaque with a slight ruby tinge and a small, very dark head. Aroma of toast and coffee. Coffee flavours with a little smoke. Burnt caramel and plenty of malt. This has a real treacle sweetness which is tempered by a decent amount of bitterness, though the overall flavour may be just a touch too sweet.

UPDATED: JAN 7, 2018 Keg at The Queens Head, kings cross. Pours very dark brown, minimal head. Smooth, balanced beer, quite thick, dry finish, malty roasty undertones. Not bad

Bottle - full dark brown with only a small tan head. Good chocolate / coffee aroma. Slight ting on tongue but ok. Strong tasting and lasting. Full bodied for a 4.5% beer. Getting chocolate / coffee taste after resting a bit.

Tap @ Queen's Head. Black with a small beige head. Classic milk stout. Smooth and creamy. Chocolate and a bit fruity. God body for such a relative low-ABV beer. Tasty and quite drinkable and won't knock you off your feet. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: SEP 20, 2017 Dealer / Source: Pub (Cask) Expectation: Dark Sweet Milky Stout Were expectations met: Yes Findings: It is pretty much what it says it is. I tasted milk white chocolatey - custardy - vanilla with roasted malt-hoppy after-flavours. Its a lovely smooth easy drinking pint. Would I be happy drinking it again: Yes

Not the greatest stout I've had. Seemed a bit sweet over anything else, gets boring.
