COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Inspired by the amazing hoppy beers being brewed by American craft brewers this beer is heavily hopped, packing it with tropical fruit flavours and aromas. Pineapple, passion fruit & grapefruit are the dominant features of this beautiful amber ale, that has a big strong malt backbone to balance out all the hops.

Hop_Hedonist (607) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - JUL 4, 2014
Mediocre compared to hoppy US/Australian/NZ pales ales - resin aroma follows through to moderately intense resiny herbal palate - needs to be way more vibrant and fruity for me.

500ml bottle (chilled) - Bright orange appearance with a slight still foam head. Little to no carbonation. Peach and fruity aromas and smooth on the tongue with just a hint of bitterness on the palate.

Cloudy orange with a bouncy white head. I think too many IPAs are dominated by grapefruit - happily this one leads with the mandarin and pineapple. The bitterness is present throughout and offsets the fruit well.

Hazy amber with a thick white head. Aromas of floral hops and citrus. Taste medium sweet. Palate slightly sticky. Finish of hops.

Bottle. Hazy amber with a fluffy white head. Aroma of grapefruit, pineapple, tinned mandarin, biscuit. Sweet hay, mandarins, biscuit, juicy grapefruit, pineapple, some menthol. Dryish moderately bitter finish. A bit fruit saladish for me.

Keg @ £3.50 a half in the White Horse, Parsons Green. Slightly hazy amber with a minimal white head. Pungent new world hop nose that intensifies as the beer warms up. Smooth carbonation with oily hop lubrication on the swallow. Near perfect balance of hop cocktail and juicy malts with ample body from ideal strength. Thank god for RB on my mobile; I would have overlooked this gem without your recommendations.

Aroma: very fruity, tropical fruits. Appearance: dark gold, small white head. Taste: medium sweet. Palate: strong hops, flowery, some hay. Overall: some mixed feelings about this one, palate too hoppy, or better - weirdly hoppy. Pint at the Holborn Whippet, Holborn.

Sarpa (1615) - FINLAND - MAY 11, 2014
Bottle 50cl from AbM @ home. Pours slightly hazy orange with a white head. Pine, floral hops, citrus in the aroma. Sweet, mandarin, cirtus hops flavor.

Bottle. Pours hazy amber colour with medium size white head. Aroma is grapefruit heavy with hints of pine and pineapple. On the tongue, juicy grapefruit and citrus, a little malt and a lovely bitter finish. Delightful beer!

500ml bottle. Can’t remember where from. Pours hazy gold. Lots of tongue-tingling grapefruit pith and zesty hops. Not mind-blowingly hoppy thus making it rather delicious and quaffable.
