Bristol Brewing Company proudly announce the graduation of Edge City IPA to six packs and confer upon it the name of Bristol’s Compass IPA! This is an ale with zip. Our IPA brings together copious amounts of Columbus, Chinook and Cascade hops in a tasty combination that lingers through the finish and beyond. Big hop flavor with malt in a nice supporting role.

16 ounce sample on tap at The Broadmoor Hotel. The aroma is pleasant enough with pine and floral hop character. Quite quaffable. Attractive, transparent ruddy copper body with a small, light tan head. Starts with some fruity character, before some big piney resins come through in the middle. Finishes moderately bitter and quite piney. There’s almost a bit of a urinal cake character going on here.

Grand Junction, CO - College Liquors - 12 oz bottle. Slightly hazy medium golden, soft snow white head, nice film of lacing. Aroma has some pungent spruce accents, some floral accents. Bold IPA flavor, some bittersweet citrus, a touch of mango frutiness, some raw cake mix sweetness. Thick, rich mouthfeel. Pretty solid.
