Bottle, thanks to Zach. Pours clear, bronze orange, with a small, fleeting, beige head. The nose is rye bread, allspice, bitter orange peel, and caramel. Sweet and malty, with a sharp, nice bitterness. Medium body, sticky, grainy, and clingy. This is a pretty good, malty beer. The palate is a bit harsh, but the flavor is reasonably well balanced, and the malt aromas are nice. ahefling (1) - Canon City, Colorado, USA - JUN 17, 2016 does not count
Called it an "ale", boring, grainy male flavor. No complexity. Colorado suffers from too many beer makers who don’t bother to make beer that is outstanding, just like their shitty weed. jeremyh70 (1115) - Missouri, USA - DEC 4, 2015
Pours a hazy dark golden with a decent white head and good lacing. Light aroma of pilsner malt, caramel and earthy hops. tastehas a light sweetness with some bready malt, earthy hops and a slight peppery flavor. Nothing special but not offensive and easy drinking. kambei70 (1107) - - DEC 1, 2015

Pours slightly cloudy golden with a small off-white head, some lacing. Aroma is grainy, straw and cereal. Taste of cereal, straw and spices
This was lacking. No real aroma to speak of. Nice Amber color though. Palate was average and the flavor was bland and forgettable. Not planning to revisit. snoworsummer (5959) - baltimore, Maryland, USA - JUN 11, 2015
Draft at the brewpub. Pours hazy amber with a fizzy off white head. Tastes like creamy woody malt with a hint of butter, caramel, corn, and some citrus hops. Medium body and light/medium carbonation. Smells like woody malt, butter, a hint of vinegar, caramel, and some citrus hops. rdixon77 (2944) - Georgia, USA - JAN 9, 2015
Nothing special. Kind of plan - corn based Amber ale. Slightly sweet. Inoffensive drinkable but no reason to. JCLNoCo (5) - - JAN 3, 2015 does not count
This is a good effort by a craft brewer to deliver a British-type ale. It has a roasty flavor, earthy tones. kathouse (1930) - LAS VEGAS, Nevada, USA - NOV 26, 2014
Amber with a tiny head and even smaller aroma. Malt body shows bread and light grains with little to balance. No hop flavor I could denote. Pretty bland.
