12 oz bottle, 2007, from BeerandBlues2 - thanks Brad! Clear, orange amber with a slight beige head. Nose is maltarded (a phrase coined at RSG08) - lots of sweet, sweet malt with a resiny orange citrus tone and a pinch of alcohol. Very sweet caramel malt flavors, rich and full, light brown sugar and an herbal tone. Silky smooth and rich. A very nice BW - I’m boogered after this! w00t! Bottle from trade with BeerandBlues. Mostly clear copper-orange color, bits of soapy white head. General sweet malty character, apricots, kind of an English character. Very sweet taste, bit of a hop tingle on the finish. Pretty mild, but really nothing detracting from this. Nice. Ty5592 (1018) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 14, 2008

(12oz bottle, thanks blindeyedbetty) Small off-white head atop hazy light copper body. Aroma is moderately sweet, caramel, some Cognac, grapefruit/floral, wood. Taste is moderately sweet, caramel, some alcohol/Brandy, light wood. Medium body, low carbonation, thin for what it holds. coldbrewky (1730) - Hippetown East, New York, USA - JAN 12, 2008
Bottle in trade with Beerandblues2. Nose is intsens malts, and some whispy floral hops.No head or carbonation although bottle did have a bit. A deep amber in tulip. Nealy looks of new motoil from a distance. An intermingled tartness weaves thru the full seeetness of body and fades quickly to center of tounge. The 11.5% is elusive and seems to be looking at you from around the corner. Nose lingers near glass as if it does not wish to leave the vicinity of the beer. Surprisingly light in body for all the ingredients involved. AmEricanbrew (6878) - Same Trailer, Different Park, Louisiana, USA - JAN 3, 2008

12oz bottle acquired in trades with Kevin and snowtiger (thanks!). 2006 vintage. Poured a medium brown color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of caramel, chocolate, dark fruits, and citrus. Tastes of caramel, roast, chocolate, toffee, and lighter dark fruits. Beaver (1830) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - DEC 12, 2007
12 oz bottle, dated 2007. Pours a murky brown with a thin head that quickly dissipates to a thin collar.
The aroma is sweet caramel, dark fruits, molasses, melon, pine, and some spicy alcohol.
The flavor is surprisingly subdued - sweet cola and vanilla with some bitter burnt medicinal alcohol at the finish. The mouthfeel is is fairly full with a washed out watery texture.
Overall, it’s not bad, but the lack of flavor and watery texture was disappointing.
