Draft at the brewpub. Pours clear bright amber with a fizzy white head. Tastes like caramel, corn, doughy malt, and dry grapefruit hops. Light/medium body and medium carbonation. Smells like caramel, corn, a hint of vinegar, and some doughy malt. notalush (5910) - Lakewood, Colorado, USA - MAY 7, 2010
Another inoffensive, drinkable, yet uninspiring bottled offering from this brewery - a fairly sturdy malt base sets up and earthy cascade flavor - high hop flavor, but low hop bitterness - some herbal, tea-like character - medium sweet - a little yeasty in the finish - peppery on the tail end - okay. hayduke (5619) - Eureka, California, USA - OCT 14, 2015

bottle thanks to bman1113vr. deep amber with a white head. caramel, light fruity hops and not much else. thin palate, light hop flavors, smooth esters and that about sums it up. beerguy101 (5360) - Newark, California, USA - OCT 6, 2012
Sampled on 10/6/2012. This American Pale Ale pours a medium orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head, with decent lacing. The aroma is caramel, fruity and sweet, with some citrusy hops. A medium bodied American Pale Ale. The malts are caramel, fruiy, bready and sweet. The hops are citrusy and floral. Decent carbonation. Nice balance of hops and malts. Decent Pale Ale. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Draft @ brewpub. Amber. Bright hop overtone in aroma but not dominant, it smells pretty balanced. Balanced but uneventful, easy going with a good hop finish. travita (5006) - Dallas, Texas, USA - MAY 9, 2010
Bottle thanks to bman113vr. The smell is very caramel, sweet, honey, and malts. The look is clear, golden in color, and has a small off white head. The taste is malts, grains, some sweetness, and hops. ads135 (4923) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - SEP 13, 2015
Not a bad pale ale. Some light citrus hops, lingering grassy aroma and a caramel malt base. jkwalking05 (4743) - Arlington, Texas, USA - JUL 3, 2013
Rated in 2010 (Backlog) - Amber in color with an average sized off-white head. Aroma is of light hops and caramel. Taste is of apple, caramel, and light woody hops. drjay44 (3798) - Salida, Colorado, USA - MAR 7, 2014
12 oz. bottle. Bottled 01/2014. Pours a medium, ivory, well retained hed, with extensive lacing, over a slightly hazy, dark amber (SRM 15) body....nose is light pine, resin, citrus peel from the hops, light toasted malts with toast, biscuit tones, very light hints of toffee/caramel, minimal esters from the yeast....taste is light toffee/caramel sweetness with cereal tones. leading to a lightly floral, pine, resin, citrus peel moderate bitterness, minimal esters.....mouth feel, body is light of medium, clean light acid finish, low carbonation, with a clean smooth finish. This is a nicely balanced example of the style. It is a bit light on malt and hop complexity and could use more in both backbones. Would suggest adding more Cascade for the dry hopping, and a bit of crystal/caramel malt to up malt complexity and body. BJCP 7/3/15/4/6.
