Draft, Brew at the Zoo Benefit in Denver. Poured a clear orange color. Couldn’t muster any more than a filmy off white head. No lace was left behind. Aroma was of flowery hops and fresh cut grass. Dry on the tongue up front with delicate malty caramel sweetness at the end which lingers. aracauna (3585) - Georgia, USA - DEC 21, 2006
Pours a copper body with a good head. Pithy, piney hop aroma fills out the aroma. A bit of pale malt flavor in there as well. Not bad. Will suffice in a hop jones. SledgeJr (3577) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - JUL 28, 2004
In the bottle at the 2004 Crescent Moon Vintage Beer Tasting. Nice! A great example of the style. Red amber in color. Very hoppy. I love visiting this brewpub as the folks there are super nice. I hope to get back there soon and rate all their beers. Aubrey (3516) - Bellingham, Washington, USA - AUG 17, 2002
UPDATED: DEC 23, 2004 Smooth and soft mouthfeel. Malts had elements of caramel, cookie dough and toast. Nice hop aromas and some balancing bitterness. Well balanced beer. More like an English bitter than an American Pale Ale. Pretty easy to drink; nice session beer. PhillyBeer2112 (2818) - Oviedo, Florida, USA - JUL 31, 2002
Seriously intense hop aroma: grassy, piney, fresh herbs, a little cannabis. Dark copper color with small head, quickly dissipating, with decent lace. Clean light malt is prominent in the flavor, hop flavors are subdued, finishing lightly bitter and dry with a note of honey. Very light carbonation and surprisingly light body, giving it a little too watery a mouthfeel.

Golden Amber colored. Soft malt and hop aroma. Fairly bitter and dry body. Standard. jcr (2692) - Jasper, Indiana, USA - AUG 28, 2008
Draft at brewery. Small, off-white head atop a medium amber body. The aroma has notes of cookie, grapefruit and resin. Some pine in the background. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. The finish turns moderately bitter. Medium body with a watery texture. Ample carbonation. OK. And just OK, yet easy to drink. Why not go for one of Bristol’s IPA’s instead of this?

A regular pale ale. Decently hopped upfront. Sweet body, smooth mouthfeel, crisp finish. lb4lb (2587) - Austin, Texas, USA - AUG 24, 2008
Pours a very light amber color. Smell is smooth and fruity and of mild hops. Taste is dusty, biscuity malt and hops are light and fruity. Some light yeast flavor is present too. Mild bitterness and a smooth, drinkable beer. Not bad. Fatehunter (2561) - Corbett, Oregon, USA - DEC 15, 2012
Pint glass, half finger of head. Cloudy, copper colored body.
Smell is malty, wet grain in a barnyard. Not great.
Taste is sour with mild bitterness. It’s a bit disjointed.
Smooth texture, moderate carbonation and medium body.
Not too impressed with this. Not horrible, but missing the mark.
