This along with the Laughing Lab was easily the best brew that I had on my visit to Colorado Springs several years back. A very light and smooth session beer with not a ton of flavor to it, but just enough to get the job done. Solid effort by these guys. TChrome (1472) - North Richland Hills, Texas, USA - MAY 11, 2006
Beer pours pretty clear burnt orange color with a totally retained beige colored head. Aroma is mostly citric hops, a nod to grapefruit juice also caramel. Flavor is really delicous. Very citrically hoppy, but in a very fresh fruit juice kind of way. Could drink a case of these easy. potbeerjob (1343) - Denver, Colorado, USA - AUG 1, 2009
Bottled. Thin body. Deep clouded amber red, with ever thinning small off-white head. smells of floral notes and sweeter caramel maltiness. to malty and sweet of a flavor for an IPA. Tastes caramel and citrus but unpredictably light on bold hop flavor. UncleKorm (1319) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - SEP 13, 2012
Bottle pours Orange w/ medium particles & white head excellent lacing and mostly lasting. Hay aroma. Light sweet with a bitter punch, it really pushes the upper end of the IBU for most Pale Ales. A complex beer with both malty & hoppy flavors coming through.

Bottled. Beer is clear, medium amber brown. Head is small, off-white, frothy, mostly diminishing but lasting.
The aroma is malty with moderate notes of husky toasted grain, biscuit; Hoppy with a moderate note of sourish resin/pine, light herbal; Yeasty with light notes of dough and basement; Light miscellaneous note of vanilla, trace of pepper.
The flavor is lightly sweet, trace acidic, trace/lightly bitter with a long, lightly bitter, lightly acidic, trace sweet finish.
The body is light, the texture is watery and the carbonation is lively.
Not very clean or interesting. talon1117 (1152) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JAN 7, 2009
UPDATED: JAN 16, 2009 Pours sparkling amber with a moderate, white, pillowy head which leaves a very small layer and minimal lace. Nose is typical of poor APA’s with sweat, grass, faint cookie, and light citrus. Flavor is much of the same; sweat, wet grass, a little herbal, and faint pine with some sweet bread notes. Palate is lively, light to medium, and watery. Finishes quickly with wet grass and faint sweet breads. Bitterness is moderately light in this boring APA. Nothing too remarkable here. jeremyh70 (1103) - Missouri, USA - DEC 4, 2015
Poured a slightly hazy amber with a small white head. Aroma of sweet malts and a decent crisp hoppiness. A solid sweet malt backbone in the taste, with a good balance of floral hops, citrusy. Mild and drinkable, with a light-medium body. Not bad. kmeves (1098) - Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 5, 2003
Ahh, I love the smell of Cascade's after a hard days work. Well carbonated amber pour produced a slowly dissipating tan head. Very light bodied for the style. Nice bitterness. Somewhat grassy finish. Decent brew, awesome aroma. kambei70 (1070) - - DEC 1, 2015
2015 bottle. Poured a deeper and cloudy amber color with an averaged sized off white head. Lots of small floaters. Aromas of some flowers, light caramel, and cookie dough. Tastes of cookie dough, caramel, oranges and some citrus. Thin body.
