Translation: The BRITT blonde beer (Melen in Breton) is non pasteurised. It’s brewed with barley malt and aroma hops. The buckwheat gives it a characteristic smoothness. Formerly 5%

Note: Do not confuse with the Britt Blonde Pils/Pur Malt at 4.5%.

Nor buckwheat neither anything. Just simple blonde beer, light, watery and without so much interest.

ogivlado (7764) - Zagreb, CROATIA - AUG 24, 2015
Bottled 330ml. -from E.Leclerc Ljubljana as Britt Blonde Melen. Hazy yellow coloured, medium sized white head, mild spicy nose. Malty, caramel, spicy, coriander as well and sugar with rather short and slightly watery finish. Drinkable but nothing special here.

jamaty (2118) - Madrid, SPAIN - JUN 16, 2015
Pálida y turbia, con poca espuma. Aroma poco significativa. En boca tiene un sabor bastante lupulado, muy floral y a piel de naranja, junto con cierto toque a fermento que empeora el conjunto. Notable carbonatacion. Apreciable.

ChtiBreizh (456) - Rennes, FRANCE - APR 17, 2015
A good pale ale with refreshing citrus notes (a bit like a belgian white). Well balanced. Surprisingly good compared to other blondes from Brittany.

bartlebier (3946) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - JAN 20, 2015
[Bretagne backlog, a good while back] Britt mixpack, Carrefour. Odd mix of heavy fruity (buck)wheat ale and well-attenuated dusty, peppery bière de garde. Packs a hidden punch, but well drinkable, with a dull grainy finish.

Calisky (2916) - ALSACE, FRANCE - OCT 13, 2014
Couleur dorée trouble, très légère mousse blanche. Nez de banane et levures. Gout banane et épices (poivre), puis malt et légèrement houblonnée. Un peu trop épicée, fin trop amère voir aigre.
