Translation: The BRITT blonde beer (Melen in Breton) is non pasteurised. It’s brewed with barley malt and aroma hops. The buckwheat gives it a characteristic smoothness. Formerly 5%

Note: Do not confuse with the Britt Blonde Pils/Pur Malt at 4.5%.

reebtogi (6403) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - MAR 16, 2012
330ml bottle at 5%ABV pours a pale golden color with a 2 finger white head that retains well and leaves a thin lacing on the glass. Aroma is cereal grains and grassy hops. Taste is grainy with a grassy hop bitterness. Flavors are more complex than I can describe and this is a much better brew than I expected. Well done.

Bottle from Björn, thanks. Semi lasting off white head. Thinn yellow color. Fine belgian aroma with a complex belgian taste. Nice beer that you want more of.

Bottle 33cl, a clear yellow beer with low head. Nose is on dry malt and bottom yeast like. Aroma is on dry malt, peppery hops and vegetable notes, body is malty and dusty hops, near to german Helles style.

Bottled. Lightly hazy golden, mid-sized head. Fruity coriander aroma. Dryish with notes of dough, grains and buckwheat. Light grassy bitterness. Well balanced and nicely drinkable.

A light spicy pils aroma. First sign of hops from these guys. A light floral hop that makes it pretty tasty. Very smooth.

AshtonMcCobb (7029) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUN 13, 2011
33cl bottle. Pours a hazy lemon colour with some head and very gentle bubble. The nose has lemon sorbet and yoghurt. The taste has more lemon with a background malt note, then yeast with some hops at the end. The palate has medium structure, a creamy texture and a fairly clean finish. Overall, a like this style a lot and it’s a fairly good example.

erickok (6036) - Leuven, BELGIUM - JUN 12, 2011
Hazy light orange, medium white head. Feta cheese, citrus fruit, wheat and a metalic dryness. Light body wi a citrussy sweetness and some banana. Very light spices in the aftertaste. Reminds me of the bite of a mild hefeweizen. Decent and (too?) accessible. (33cl bottle)

2.1
Koelschtrinker (22074) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - JUN 1, 2011
Saurer, wenig herber Antrunk. Die vorhandenen Hefigkeit wird von der Säure überspielt, mit der Zeit wird das Bier muffiger und süßer. Dennoch unausgewogen durch die unkontrolliert wirkende Säure. Naja... 7/6/7/6/8/6
