APPEARANCE: gold color and clear. medium white head with medium-low retention. TASTE: similiar to the aroma, with a slight yeasty presence, moderate oranges and clove. low bitterness with a semi-sweet and bready finish. PALATE: medium to medium-low body with a slight smoothness. medium carbonation. OVERALL: a malt oriented blonde with an alternative grain that gives a peculiar touch. Gold in colour and well carbonated. Floral and grassy hop aromas are there, as well as a bit of malt and a hint of sulfur. It has a nice clean bitterness and a slightly nutty flavor quality. There are some light malt and very mild fruit notes as well. It would make a great lawnmower beer. Thanks to Lubiere for this surprising sample.

33cl bottle from a six-pack of Breton beers at Carrefour. As cloudy as their Blanche; yeasty aroma, but not as dominant as the Blanche; sweet malty taste with a touch of herbs. Creamy and easy to drink with a smoky finish. oh6gdx (26485) - Vasa, FINLAND - JAN 6, 2008
Bottled. Golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is caramel, spices, alcohol and some mild notes of glue and paper. Flavour is malts, caramel, sugar and mild notes of alcohol. KyotoLefty (10688) - Kyoto, JAPAN - OCT 3, 2009
Medium gold with a slight orange tint. Nice, fine head. Cloudy. Fresh, fruity aroma of yeast and malt mainly. Much like a Belgian blonde. Lots of yeast. A fruity blond beer with darn good hopping. Flavor is a touch sweet, fruity with a bit of citrus, and some spice. Finish of malt and hops, lasting fairly long. Not very original, but a well-balanced, well-hopped blonde ale. I like it a lot. trapez (1563) - Hilleroed, DENMARK - FEB 15, 2010
Bottle. Malt, fruit and hops in aroma. Unclear yellow colour with white head. Surprisingly much malt and bread in flavour with only discrete hops bitterness. A hint of citrus. TEJA (3257) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - FEB 6, 2012
