The beer pours a solid black colour with a generous creamy tan coloured head that sticks around a little while. The aroma is roasted malt, hints of nuts, light vanilla and weak coffee. The mouthfeel is medium bodied, quite creamy, with average carbonation. The flavour is roasted malts, coffee, and sweet candy note in the mix. Not bad

Papillon (426) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 28, 2017
473 mL Can. Black-brown body with a foamy tan head settling to a thin layer coating and leaving ribs on the glass as it is sipped. Aroma of toasted malts, coffee, cocoa, raisins, hints of caramel and pastries. Full flavor of toasted malts, cocoa, black coffee, burnt toast, aftertaste of toasted malts and raisins, clean hop bitter finish tapering to raisins-like taste with a bit of a sharp edge, very smooth although it seems to feel a bit thin in the mouth.

WillemsUrenkel (1980) - Oldenburg, GERMANY - JUL 3, 2017
0,473 ml from a LCBO in Otttawa. Pours out black with a small fast fading head. Roasty and choco on the nose. Taste starts smoot, choco, some malt and more choco with a mid sweetness. Low hopy, some fruity sweetness in the second row. Okay.

Cartoonkhaki (1301) - Brantford, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 2, 2017
Clean looking dark brown with tan head. Roasted aroma a little sugary. The palate is okay a little too light for my personal taste but it is okay. Finished with a light bitter. I would acquire this again.

Despite the comments below, my can poured limper than....me at the sight of Kellyanne Conway. Nose is sweet and toasty, charcoal, chocolate and dark fruity. Taste is more on the sweet side, lightly mineral, slightly watery. Mild burnt grain bitterness. Drinkable. I'm Ron Burgundy? ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tessic (1192) - Brantford, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 6, 2017
This stout poured a deep black colour with a light brown head. Little lacing. Scents include caramel, molasses, toast and coffee. First swig had a slight watery mouthfeel but delicious flavour. Tastes of coffee, caramel and burnt toast. Finish is nice and burnt with coffee flavour lingering. Delicious! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tranquillity (2483) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 18, 2017
Canned. Black body, medium large brown head. The aroma has ginger, cookies, smoke. The taste is syrupy, and very chocolatey.
