COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Broadhead’s Long Shot White is a fresh, fruit-flavored wheat ale that’s brewed to be hazy and brazen. A spirited, sweet and slightly spicy beer that perfectly mingles coriander with orange overtones, kicking back with a Long Shot is a welcome, flavorful friend.

Enjoyed at Craft Beer Market. Pours a hazy light golden colour with a white cap that stays on top. Fruity wheat taste with the grainy aftertaste. Floral hints. Wheat smell as well with fruity notes. Refreshing wheat beer, but not sure a white one.

Enjoyed a sample at the Ottawa Brewery Market July 7th/13. Has an average size foamy head that doesn’t stay long. Aromas are mild malts, citrus hops and some wheaty scents. Flavours are mostly citrus hops with stronger notes of oranges as well as mild bananas and tropical fruits. Also some hints of nutmeg. Slight bitterness in the finish. Quite enjoyable. Would try again, either full pint or a growler from the brewery

on tap at black tomato, ottawa. cloudy golden orange with a small very creamy white head offering good retention and lacing. tender and chewy peppery wheat, bitter citrus rather than numbing curacao, old pinneapple juice, clean wit yeast action without any estery components. smooth but loose carbonation, light body - watery; relatively dry herbal-citrusy finish. not only dull.

Cloudy orange with bubbly white head. Faint aromas of citrus, pineapple and bread. Flavor is slightly sweet finishing on a bland, dull and flat note. Smooth in mouth. After rating a sharp, bitter offering from the same brewer, this rating may be a little biased.

[5905-20131010] Growler. Oregano herby aroma. Murky, pale orange body with a medium-lasting creamy white head. Soapy grainy flavour has a bit of wheaty fruit grain throughout and a soft finish. Medium body. Average, definitely emulates Rickard’s White. (6/3/6/4/13) 3.2

341 mL bottle. Hazy peach nectar with a thin cap of white head. Nose is juicy with grainy malt, orange, coriander, apricot and spicy Noble hops. Slightly sweet with balancing spiciness, creamy texture despite being on the lower end of the carbonation range. Light bodied and refreshing. A sort of American/Belgian Wheat/Wit hybrid, very nice with my curried chicken. Great flavor, but I’d love a touch more carb and some head retention.

On tap at the Ottawa Beerfest. A cloudy copper gold with a thick foamy head. Tons of coriander in the aroma. Very smooth & creamy in the mouthfeel. Lots of spice, witbier like. Wheaty spicy goodness.

On tap at Lancaster smokehouse. Very cloudy orange with zero head. Mild wheat and citrus aroma. What and a huge orange taste. Quite sweet. Light spiciness. Not bad.

Draft sample. Orange in colour with plenty of haze and medium carbonation. Very mild aromas of orange peel and grain. Very odd flavor of fresh milled malted barley, vanilla, and muted citrus. Medium bodied. Outside of the orange elements, it’s not terribly wit like. Drank ok overall, but an odd duck.
