A golden ale with a thin white head. Aroma is of sweet creamy caramel, cloves and ginger. In mouth, a classy wit with good cloves, banana esters, and light lingering ginger. Overall, a very nice refreshing wit. MartinT (9932) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 30, 2007
My Bottom Line:czar (9172) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 12, 2011
Sweet ginger spiciness and balanced earthy hoppiness make up this subtle flavor profile aiming at diversifying the session ale menu at Broadway Pub.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam covers the pale golden clarity.
-The body is lean and oily and the mouthfeel actively carbonated.
-This is not something I’d drink often, but it’s competently done for what it is.
-The finish is a little dry, bitter and spicy.
-Apple fruitiness emanates from the interplay of cereal sweetness and spicy ginger.
-This is much better than Le Lièvre’s...

on tap at brewpub. hazy light yellow, small head, some retention and lacing. nose: light yeast, soap, ginger, light spices and bananas. taste is slightly acidic, dried ginger, ginger-tingling, light but present herbal hopping. almost aggressive carbonation, light body, citric-ginger finish. (Rating #1284) Boutip (6397) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 27, 2010
Bottle: Poured a light amber color ale with a medium foamy head with average retention and good lacing. Aroma of ginger is dominating as well as some light cereal notes. Taste is mostly dominated by ginger but is also well enough balance with a nice grain bill with clean cereal notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Refreshing, well brewed and importantly it is also well balanced.

Crystal clear pale yellow. Gentle 1cm white head. Looks almost exactly like the triple. Soft ginger aroma stays well under control unlike many oher examples. Spicy, zesty, lemony base aimed at refreshment. Light-bodied, soft carbonation. More pronounced ginger in mouth, but still quite approachable. Low hops. Gentle tartness. Simple, but fresh tasting and this is the purpose I guess. JulienHuxley (5848) - Sherbrooke, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 29, 2009
Pale yellow pour. Somehow I expected this to be a ginger bomb in the nose, I was surprised. Aroma is mellow and well balanced wheat with a bit of ginger I get a little something fruity like apples here. Taste is ok, wheaty with some spiciness. Quite highly carbonated, it gives this beer a refreshing mouthfeel. Wasn’t expecting much but a nice surprise. robinvboyer (4699) - Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 5, 2008
hazy orange pour, smells slightly of hops, and a touch of ginger. the ginger doesnt seem to be very prominent in the aroma or the flavour, but it really shines in the finish, and it lingers. rodenbach99 (4572) - Longueuil, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 23, 2009
