Sample on tap at festival brassicole. Murky amber brown pour with thin white head. Aroma is super roasty, cloying vegetal and brown sugar aromas, mild burned grain. Taste is quite vegetal, almost sour, seems infected, soured dark grain flavors with a sweet vegetal finish. Couldn’t finish a 2 Oz glass.

(Rating #5804)

mount hood randallized. cloudy pale golden pour with a creamy/frothy white head, very good retention and lacing. citrus, yeast - belgian angles, phenols, watermelon bubblegum, awkward strawberry and rhubarb artificially flavoured gum, melon candies, smooth pine and resin from randall, almost doughy pale maltiness, grass, pepper. light carbonation, light body - oily, drying herbal-grassy-citrusy finish. articial fruits - watermelony more than rhubarb. randall treatment improved the beer and/or its appreciation for sure.

A hazed golden amber ale with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light rhubarb, faint cherry, not bad. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with grassy hops, light rhubarb astringency, faint buttery notes, grapeskin, nice and smooth. On tap at Oktoberfest des Québecois 2014.

On tap at Saint-Bock.
Pours golden with low-medium off-white head. Aroma is of grain, offness, grain, some weird stuff (rhubarb?). Taste is of grain, bitterness, "rhubarb". Palate: Medium body. Soft carbonation. Acrid. Overall: Not alot of rhubarb, and not in an overly good way.

On tap @ Saint-Bock. Clear pale golden/amber with a small white head and little lacing. Aroma is quite earthy with light rhubarb notes and hints of sweetness. Aroma is slightly sweet with spices, earthy notes, light rhubarb presence and caramel. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Not easily drinkable. Too earthy/spicy. Meh...

On tap at Saint-Bock. Rhubarbe pale ale from broadway pub 5%
An opaque copper pour with a filmy white head. Rhubarbs and earthy spice aroma is appetizing. Medium bodied with a really zesty mouthfeel. The taste is spice forward, earthy and with decent rhubarb sweetness in the finish. I like it.
