Bottle: Poured a bright blonde color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of citrus and grapefruit notes with some light bitter notes. Taste is also quite dominated by some citrus notes with some grapefruit and some light residual sugar notes. Hops were maybe not as floral as I would have liked but were still quite enjoyable. Body is about average with good carbonation. Not top of the class but still pretty enjoyable beer.

UPDATED: DEC 3, 2014 Bottle from Peluso. Aroma: caramel and a tiny fruity smell. App: dark copper, hops in suspension, huge head. Taste and palate: medium body, light texture, heavy carbonation, dry bitter finish. Overall: not that great, way too much carbonation (what a mess I had my parents house), aroma is boring. Palate is ok. I think I had a bad batch/bottle. Appearance was way too weird.

You know, Ive lost count of the number of times Ive opened a microbrew, either an old fave or a nouvel essaie, only to discover that the bottle is infected. Historically Ive refrained from rating these beers, since obviously my rating will be very skewed, compared to people who tried the beer as it was MEANT to taste. But to hell with that. If you expect me to pay $6 for a bottle of beer and you cant even make sure your bottles are clean, then you have no business selling beer in the first place. I would write the brewery to complain, but in the half dozen times Ive written to a microbrewery, whether to praise or complain, Ive never received a response. Apparently microbreweries dont believe in customer service. Or maybe they dont like receiving rambling letters than run on for.... The bottom line is that I couldnt even tell you what this beer is supposed to taste like, which can only lead me to believe that it sucks. And Im clearly more bitter than this beer SHOULD be.
