Bottle.Draught DØE Tasting. Fine aroma, good head, faint taste of chilli to littel for my taste. jazzmaster (22) - DENMARK - JAN 18, 2008
Draught at Ølbaren - black with a nice brown lasting head. Very good aroma of roasted barley and chocolate with a little citrus from hops. Full creamy mouthfeel and a beautiful flavour of dark chocolate and caramel, and with a nicely integrated note of smoked chili that burns in the aftertaste. sinisterdad (14) - DENMARK - JAN 18, 2008
Draught at Ølbaren - dark brown/black appearance with a thick chocolate brown foam. Delicious aroma of dark chocolate, roasted malt/barley and a little fruitiness from hops. Flavour is full and creamy with more chocolate, caramel toffee, roastedness and a hint of chili, which becomes more and more evident after some sips. Quite light in carbonation, which gives a nice creamy mouthfeel stobbe74 (3789) - DENMARK - JAN 18, 2008
From tap at Carlsens Kvarter, DØE Porter/Stout tasting. Dark, almost black, beer, with a very little brown (chokolatecolored) head. The aroma is slightly roasted and with a little chocolate. Not much aroma, the beer might be served to cold. The flavor is dark malts, with very roasted notes. There is a light chilitaste in the aftertaste. The mouthfeel is a little thin, but the chili stays in the mouth. Overall this beer is not to impressiv, might be better with a little aging and if served at the right temparature (not too cold). thewolf (12535) - Kolding, DENMARK - JAN 15, 2008

Pours a deep brown, bordering on black... a creamy beige head rising on top of the light, but still inpenetrable liquid below. And it stays... and stays... wonderful duration... I lift the glass towards my nose... wonderful feeling of deep, dark chocolate whifting through the entire room. I take a sip. Wow! this has wonderful composition, lovely creaminess. At first, the chocolate dominates, then the feeling softens, giving way to slight spiciness and loads of chili - the sweet, but still strong and powerful kind. The dark chocolate stays in my cheeks and a light chili-burn lasts throughout. Astonishing balnce between so defining - and powerful - ingredients.
Draugh at Ølbaren. A black beer with a big beige head. The aroma is of roasted malt, chocolate, the taste is is of roasted malt, chocolate, coffee and a perfect prickly sensation on the tongue from the chili. Medium to full body with a dry chili finish. Best chili beer I have had! yespr (44811) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - JAN 8, 2008
From tap at the Ølbaren. Pours pitch black with a dense chocolate brown head. Roasted and chocolate malty aroma. Flavour holds a smooth/soft chocolate malt flavour with a light vegetable note of chili. The chili becomes slight burning in the finish. Gets a bit cloying in the end. Draft. A black beer with a thick brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of chocolate and chili. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of chocolate, medium notes of roasted malt, and lovely subdued notes of chili, leading to a dry roasted finish. [Draught at Ølbaren] Black beer with huge brown head. Roasted malt, chocolate and liquerice in the aroma. Sweet flavor with notes of chocolate, roasted malt and burning chili in the end. faroeviking (10842) - FAROE ISLANDS - JAN 5, 2008
Draught. Pours a black colour with a short but steady long lasting creamy light brown head. The aroma has lots of chocolate with roasted malt. Good mouthfeel. The flavour is a bit sweet with lots of bitter dark chocolate, roasted malt, coffee and some chili. The finish is bitter and roasty with the chili sticking on the tongue and leaving a little burning feeling in the throat. Great different chocolate stout.
