Skinnyviking (9570) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - FEB 8, 2007
Bottle. Off-white high fluffy but lasting head. Hazy orange head. Aroma of oranges and hops (amarillo ?). Dry malt flavor with a good deal of hops hiding the high alcohol percentage. Not especially complex though as the bitterness is very dominant.

Bitter flavour of grapefruit-peels, pines and wet grass with a malty backbone of cookies. Strong and almost disturbing carbonation. Long aftertaste of resin and grass. Quite tasty but lacking something extra.

Bottled. A clear, golden beer with a nice beige head. American hops in the aroma, with pines, resin and citrus. Very hoppy flavor with the expected pine and resin, lasting all the way to the bitter end. Full-bodied beer that felt a bit too much, yet nice. (061229)
