Flaske. Mørkebrun øl med et fint skumhoved. Maltet duft, og en meget maltet smag, der ikke er for sød. Meget let humlet. Udmærket øl, men kunne godt have været en tand fyldigere. Emil (6064) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - NOV 3, 2006

UPDATED: AUG 16, 2007 Bottled. A clear, brown beer with a beige head. Caramel, spices and hops in the aroma, which is a bit weak. The flavor has caramel-sweetness, some spicyness and hops, and frutiy notes. Some warming alcohol as well, surprisingly. Medium body. Quite sweetish and slightly bitter finish. A decent beer, but I would like the alcohol to be less evident. (061028) Bragesnak (5394) - Aarhus, DENMARK - AUG 9, 2008

pre-GBBF "Rock the roof down" tasting. Deep amber colour with small off-white head. Aroma is sweet maltyness, some earthyness as well as mild herbal notes. Flavour is the same along with some fruits as well as mild alcoholic sweetness to it.
Bottled. Dark ruby with small tan head. Lightly roasty sugary nose. Quite malty, but lies hard in the mouth. Roasty with a touch of raisins. salty finish. Hard mouthfeel in combination with excessive carbonation takes the depth out of the flavour.
