Pours a clear copper golden with a thin puffy white head. Dry musty caramel malt aroma has a bittering European hop presence to it. Body has a sort of pilsener taste to it, with slightly more caramel sweetness and more hoppy bitterness. Nice, thick, yet smooth mouthfeel leads to a semi-dry and bitter finish. Nicely balanced, but reminds me more of a British IPA despite the use of Cascade hops. A unique and flavorful beer, thanks madsberg! joergen (28772) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - NOV 18, 2004
Hazy orange colour with a small white head.
Nice fruity aroma with notes of caramel and hops. Sweet malty flavour with notes of pineneedles and lots of hoppy bitterness. Good bitter aftertaste.
Very intense and powerful IPA. andershn (90) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - NOV 20, 2004
UPDATED: NOV 22, 2005 50 cL glass bottle. Strong aroma of citrus and abricot appeared when the beer was poured. In the glass the dark orange, unfiltered beer had a stiff, white foam. The apricot element from the aroma was particularly apparent in the initial flavour which later turned bitter. Good. Papsoe (25060) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - AUG 14, 2005
(Bottle 50 cl) Bronze coloured and slightly hazy. Small head, low carbonation. Very delicate hop aroma, from no less than three different hops. Hoppy throughout but not overpoweringly so - there’s a solid malty base underneath. A delicious beer. (Funny to see how the Yanks consider this a mildly hopped beer! Well, your scene is a different one.) 250103 Savad (58) - Den Bosch, NETHERLANDS - AUG 28, 2005
Huge, cobweb-wise, frothy, gushing creamy head. Excellent lacing. Orange color. White whine and flowers in the aroma. Flowers and herbs in the flavor. Bitter and somewhat sour. Dry texture.

Deep golden. Sweet-smelling nose. Lightish body, but it’s smooth and clean-feeling with a scrubbing-action carbonation. Fairly aromatic, with interesting notes of spices, flowers, perfumes and yeast. Underlying sweetness was nice, with cereal and sweet candy (but overall, malts were a little underwhelming). Healthy, lingering bitterness with plant stems and flower petals. Enjoyable beer. UPDATED: DEC 6, 2008 Bottle: Large, white, foamy head with a deep golden, cloudy body. Nice looking IPA. Hoppy, malty and flowery aroma. This returns in the flavour with some caramel taste too. Light to medium bodied. Well balanced bitter/ sweetness. Wonderfull bitter finish. Very drinkable. unibaren (157) - 8000 Århus C, DENMARK - MAY 9, 2006
Fresh, powerful hop aroma with some malty sweetness. Dark orange slightly hazy colour. Long lasting off-white head. Average carbonation. Fresh, clean malty taste with lots of hop-bitterness in the finish and aftertaste. Very nice but maybe a bit to dominated by the cascade hops. Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - APR 1, 2007
The color is copper and the head is minimal. The aroma is deliciously hoppy and the flavour has floral and hoppy notes and a bit of honey sweetness. The finish is long and the bitterness develops and changes throughout it all. A really nice IPA, even if I prefer the more brutally hopped American ones. larsniclas (7153) - Billdal, SWEDEN - JUL 21, 2007

Amber with a small head.
Rather malty with a fine hoppiness.
Not extremely bitter. Rather sweet and fruity flavour; caramelle, grapefruit. Typical Cascade.
