It’s black with a red hue and huge, creamy head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, licorice and caramel. The flavor has a light sweetness and notes of roasted malt, licorice, caramel, a hint of smoke and dry citrus. A nice vienna. odgaard (385) - Skyum, Thisted, DENMARK - NOV 29, 2009
Beautiful beer. Dark red color with an offwhite lasting head. Good lacing. Aroma: Bread, caramel, sugar, dark fruit, yeast. Taste: quite bitter, some dark fruits and some caramel. High carbonation. Ok beer but a little one-dimensional. jesperhammer (4922) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - NOV 29, 2009

What is this? I thought, Brøckhouse closed. Who bought the brand?
Brown, off-white head. Cloying charamel nose.
Thin body, OK carbonation.
Uninteresting. Do not spoil the Brøckhouse name. thewolf (12802) - Kolding, DENMARK - NOV 21, 2009
Bottle, bought @ Fakta, Haderslev.joergen (29216) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - NOV 17, 2009
Dark chestnut, almost bordering on black. A great, staying, creamy, beige head. Really lovely. Mild aroma, some chocolate, light roasted, some caramel. Just a hint of spices. Medium carbonation, fine creaminess yet a little light mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet, light citric at first. Then good caramel, chocolate. Long, lingering roasted dryness with hints of hazel nuts. Actually quite nice.
Bottle at home.
Clear orange brown coloured with a small off white head.
Sweet and malty aroma of caramel with notes of rye bread.
Malty flavour of caramel, liquorice, grain and hops with notes of rye bread.

Bottle. A new beer form a retired brewery, quite a threat ! Dark brown with huge pale brown and creamy head. Aroma roasted malts, cocoa, when it heats up chocolate and oranges. Taste roasted matls, cocoa and a little bitterness.A good beer, but I can´t understand why they don´t keep the recipe for the old christmas beer alive, when the name Brøckhouse seemingly has been sold, and someone else are brewing. But much better than the crap sold from Ølfabrikken nowadays.
Btw. it´s no way a vienna. My guess is a stout. Dedollewaitor (16387) - Odense, DENMARK - NOV 13, 2009
50cl bottle @ Fakta. Pours dark and deep amber with a handsome large and creamy white head and lacings. Nose is sweet and inviting. Chocolate, nuts and a bit of vanilla and roasted malts. Smooth and full bodied. Taste is vaguely roasted with notes of caramel , chocolate and mild spices. A very tasty and well balanced brew. Plovmand (8623) - Grindsted, DENMARK - NOV 12, 2009

UPDATED: NOV 13, 2009 Bottle from Fakta. I thought that the brewery were closed for good, but now there´s a christmasbrew in shops. The link on the label being the old and original brewery but the label being a new layout. Brown coloured beer with aroma and taste of caramel, chocolate and hops. Fresh, sweet and swedish. Its from Åbro Sweden and have never been close to Hilleroed and the old brøckhouse.
