Cask at the Great British Beer Festival 2017. Pours dark chestnut brown with a lasting bubbly beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, blackberry and hop. Moderate sweetness and medium roasted bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation.

August 2017 - Cask handpull at GBBF 2017, Kensington Olympia. As 'Brockley Porter'. Dark brown with an orange hue, foamy light brown head. Aroma is chocolate and cola. Body is light and smooth. Taste is chocolate, cola, light astringency, bourbon biscuit. Basic. (5-4-5-4-13=3.1)

GBBF Day 1. Cask. Hazy brown beer, a few pale tan bubbles. Palate is light and dry, modest carbonation. Dry dark malts bring a little dry dark chocolate. Mild roast. Dry floralness and dry orangey citrus on the finish. Not bad.

Taste comprises Chocolate Hobnobs, light charr, spice, toffee fudge, light mineral notes. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Solid porter.
