Cask - The Southampton Arms, London. Fresh on & still hazy on the pour. Golden orange with a disappearing, lacing white head. Zesty citrus, some wheaty-esque sweetness, tangerine and a nutty backdrop to the aroma. Similar flavour profile, good lingering lemon peel & grassy hop bitterness. Light to medium body, crisp, zesty & spritzy with a firmness in the mouth.

On tap at Brodies BrewPub. Hazy gold beer, small white head. Tiny bit of caramel malt. in the background over which good piney grassy hops dominate. Traces of citrus and a whisper of sweeter tropical fruits before the bitterness ramps up through to the finish and the aftertaste. Another very nice tasting hoppy beer from Brodies, just wish they had slightly more body.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
William IV, London. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is very much Nelson Sauvin like fruityness. Flavour is sweet fruits, some grapefruits as well as some sweet maltyness balancing it up. Rather bitter finish and quite mouthdrying. Very nicely balanced.
