Cask, Old Coffee House. Golden colour, white head, good lacing. Clearly hop dominant, fruity Amarillo citrus orange hint of something sharper, hint of something more tropical. Slightly oily mouthfeel, hint of resin, then long dry bitter finish. Superb, a lovely reminder of how good 4% beer on cask can and should be. Stuu666 (13635) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - DEC 14, 2016
Cask at cloisters. Pours clear golden, nose is floral, peach, orange, taste is odd, funky fruit and a bit of custard. Towey1989 (2937) - Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 7, 2016
Cask at The Hop Inn, Newcastle-Under-Lyme. A clear straw colour with a thin white head. Aroma of grapefruit, some orange, slight melon, a little straw and subtle floral hops. Taste of sweet orange, some grapefruit, slight melon, a little straw and subtle spicy, floral hops. Light bodied and a slight oily texture. A dry, orangey, floral hop bitterness in the finish. This is a hoppy pale ale done right. A great Amarillo hop aroma and flavours, well balanced. Tasty. Garrold (5341) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - OCT 12, 2015
